Com Sengupta is no more.
The founder president of AIBOC and first Gen.Secretary of AIBPARC breathed his last today. ARISE dips its banner in memory of this stalwart. All of us are disheartened by this sad news.
Though Com Sengupta was not keeping good health his very presence was a source of strength to us. We feel orphaned at this juncture and his selfless life shall guide us. Out heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

MESSAGE FROM COM. K V ACHARYA :
Dear Comrades,
With sadness, I have to share the news of sudden sad demise of our beloved leader Com.S R Sengupta, fondly known as “Santi Da”in the early hours of today, i.e.14/01/18, Makara Shankranthi day. Though he had not been keeping good health of late, still he had been a guiding force for the trade union movement in Banking particularly for the officers’ movement.
He was the founder President of the AIBOC and General Secretary of AIBOC. His contribution to the welfare and service conditions of officers along with the legendary Com late R N Godbole is significant.
He was the founder General Secretary of AIBPARC till he breathed last and a great inspiration to the Retirees’ Movement.
We dip our banner as a tribute to the memory of Com Santi Da and pray for his noble soul to rest in eternal peace.
