NOTIONAL ADDITIONAL SERVICE TO SPECIALIST OFFICERS FOR PENSIONARY BENEFITS !
Dear Comrades,
We are glad to convey the information from Com K V Acharya that IBA has issued circular to all banks to implement Regulation 26 in accordance with Supreme Court Judgement to all similarly placed officers to get notional addition upto 5 years to their service for pension benefit. This will benefit hundreds of officers in the industry. Kudos to AIBPARC and CBPRO. ARISE appreciates the efforts put in by Com Acharya as President of AIBARC and Jt Convener of CBPRO.
You might be aware that Regulation 26 deals with addition of maximum upto 5 years to the qualifying service of the bank retirees to those recruited as Specialist Officers like Veterinary Officers, Chartered Accountants, Engineers, Agricultural Officers, etc., in the Bank, who had put in considerable service in other Govt. Departments, Banks, etc., before joining the Bank.
Let us hope for more good news this year. Thanks to IBA too.
