ADDITIONAL BENEFIT OF NOTIONAL SERVICE FOR SPECIALIST OFFICERS !

Comrades,

Consequent to the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s judgement dated 20th July 2017 regarding extending the benefit of additional notional service to the eligible Specialist Officers recruited by the Banks and retired, our Bank has issued Circular to implement the same to the eligible retirees of our Bank.

The relevant circular TRANSIENT SERIES FILE 7(F) CIRCULAR NO.55/2019-20 DATED 24TH JULY 2019 is attached herewith for information and necessary action by the eligible retirees.  The said circular is also uploaded in our Bank website ” www.iob.in ” under Retirees’ Portal.

As the last date for claiming this benefit is fixed as 31st August 2019, we request all those who read this circular shall inform their ex-colleagues/retirees/friends, who are eligible, about the contents of this circular for early submission by them.

Eligible retirees are advised to submit their applications in the prescribed format given in the circular filling all the columns, before the deadline, that is 31.08.2019.

If required documents are not available , try to get them before the deadline and if your sincere attempts fail, submit the application within the deadline with request to waive the condition, so that any alrenatives can be discussed with the Bank later.

As regards the Advertisement of Recruitment (Newspaper cutting), any one who possess the same, may please contact their batchmates and provide them with a copy of the newspaper cutting to enable them to apply.

We once again request all our members to contact the eligible Specialist Officers in their circle and inform them about this circular so that no one misses the bus.
