At this critical juncture when the whole Nation is Fighting a War against the Strange but most dangerous Corona Virus which has caused an unprecedented upheaval, We as Senior Citizens and also having been part of that Financial Army during our service in the Banks cannot but do our bit to ameliorate the sufferings of the teeming millions of our Countrymen by Positively responding to the Appeal made by our Hon’ble Prime Minister to Donate to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund ( PM CARES FUND).
Accordingly, Our Apex body AIBPARC make an earnest appeal to All Pensioners to Donate One Day Pension to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund (PM CARES FUND) through their account opened for that purpose at Kolkatta, details of which are given below :

Given below is the appeal from our General Secretary & President :
Dear Comrades,
The crisis facing humanity wrings the heart of everybody. Each one of us may assess differently the way this crisis is dealt by the governments at the Centre and the States. But this is not the time to discuss and debate those assessments and judgments. All those can wait till we put out this pandemic spreading like a wildfire.
Look at the poor people having nowhere to go. Hunger, fear and anxiety overwhelming them, they have the lost the energy even to wail. The future of their children alone eggs in them to fight the odds to somehow survive this crisis. They require the help of fellow Indians who are comparatively better off. It can be a dead end but people like us can turn it into a tunnel to pass through. It is not a ‘life long supper’ they seek but only a ‘life support’ they long for. Having all along worked in giving credit lines, we can now give a life line to our fellow Indians. It is not going to cost us a fortune but it can help many escape this misfortune. It need not be therefore a day’s pension but can be something more.
What AIBPARC requested is only a gesture. AIBPARC is the face of ‘We, the society of bank retirees’. It has to be demonstrated that when PM cares, we the Bank Retirees too care for our less fortunate fellow Indians. We have to demonstrate our solidarity by donating to AIBPARC. Hence this gesture of donating a day’s pension through AIBPARC. This is only a gesture and we can do a little more. Over and above this contribution to AIBPARC, contribute directly to PM CARES and/or CMs Relief Fund of different states.
In nutshell,
1) Donate one day pension to AIBPARC for onward remittance to PM CARES.
2) Donate further directly to PM CARES and/or CM’s Relief Fund of states of your choice.
Let us also lead by example in following Government directive to practice social distancing and to stay home.
Please circulate this widely and ensure that all our members have made the contribution to AIBPARC.
