PENSION & COMMUTATION ARREARS TO THOSE RETIRED BETWEEN 1.4.1998 AND 30.04.2005 AS PER SC JUDGEMENT !

Comrades,

As you are aware, the above categories of retirees had received pension arrears in view of the merger at 1684 points as per the Supreme Court Order, but few banks have not implemented the Order yet and few others paid the pension arrears only and not the commutation arrears based on that revision..  Besides, some banks paid the pension arrears only to those who retired between 1.4.1998 and 31.10.2002, saying that those who retired after that date were covered under next Bipartite settlement !

In view of the delay in this regard, our Apex Body AIBPARC has written a detailed letter to IBA requesting for suitable instructions to the said banks for early disbursement of the arrears due.  The said letter is attached herewith for your information.
