Association of Retired IOB’s Employees (ARISE), Hyderabad and Warangal Regions
(Telangana State) organised Members’ Get Together at Prabhat Towers, 4th Floor, Parwana
Hall, Gun Foundry, Hyderabad on 24th November, 2022 @11:30 a.m.
Vice President, ARISE Com. K Purushottam presided over the meeting. Asst Gen Secretary
of Hyderabad Region Com. GSKB Prabhu welcomed Members and invited the Dignitaries to
the dais.

Com. K V Acharya, Vice President, ARISE & President, All India Bank Pensioners and
Retirees Confederation (AIBPARC) is the Chief Guest. President, ARISE Com. K S
Rengarajan is the distinguished Guest. Vice Presidents of ARISE, Sarvasri M R Gopinatha
Rao, K Anand Kumar, Dr. J D Sharma & Abraham Shaji John are Guests of Honour.

J Surya Prakash – Warangal & ECM of Warangal Region Com. B. Ashok have participated in
the meeting.

Chief Guest Com. K V Acharya appraised the latest development with regard to core
issues viz., UPDATION OF PENSION, 100% DA NEUTRALISATION TO PRE NOV-2002
RETIREES, RETIREES MEDICAL INSURANCE, CONSULTATIVE STATUS TO BANK
PENSIONERS AND RETIREES ORGANISATIONS etc ,. He also expressed confidence
of clinching these issues.

Com. Dr. J D Sharma informed that improvement in Family Pension to 30% of the last drawn
Basic Pay of the deceased Pensioner wef 01.04.2021 is achieved due to relentless efforts of
Com. K V Acharya with the able support of Com. Suprita Sarkar – GS of AIBPARC.

Com. K Anand Kumar reiterated that Pension updation is an achievable demand.

Com. K S Rengarajan said that the cost of Pension updation for 4,11,600 pensioners of SBI
and 100% DA Neutralisation to Pre Nov 2002 Retirees per annum would be ₹.3261 and
496 Crores respectively. The Pension Fund available is ₹.3.24 Lakh Crores, which is enough
to meet these two demands.

AIBPARC working president Com. C Gangadhar Yadav appealed to the members to repose
confidence in the leadership of Com. K V Acharya to achieve our long pending demands.

Com C S R Anjaneyulu, AGS – ARISE, Hyderabad Region read out the report of activities
undertaken in Hyderabad and Warangal Regions for the last five years.
35 Members, aged 70 years and above were felicitated with Shawls & Flower Bouquets.

Corporate Head of Safeway Ins TPA, Mr Juda Michael explained the procedures of Cashless
facility and Reimbursement of Non Cashless Medical claims.

Retired DGM, Com. Hari Madhu proposed a Vote of Thanks.

Sumptuous Lunch was arranged. In all 175 members from Hyderabad, Secunderabad,
Warangal, Nizamabad attended the meeting.
