BANK CIRCULAR ON RENEWAL OF MEDICAL INSURANCE
Comrades,
Bank has since issued circular on Renewal of Medical Insurance Scheme vide its circular Transient Series (File:7 F) Circular No.70 of 2016-17 dated 28.10.2016 wherein, Premium with Domiciliary reimbursement for officers is Rs.20010/= and without domiciliary reimbursement is Rs.16025/=; For award staff, premium with domiciliary reimbursement is Rs.14950/= and without domiciliary reimbursement is Rs.12020/=. Relevant circular is attached herewith.
Last date for submission of renewal option is 31.10.2016.
We are negotiating with Bank for bank’s share of premium. In the meantime, please provide sufficient balance in your pension account or the account from where last year’s premium was debited to enable the Bank to debit and pay your premium.
In order to facilitate the retirees to pay the premium, Bank also may santion loan to the retirees in need, the premium amount payable, with a maximum of Rs.20000/= repayable in 10 instalments at the rate of interest 1 year MCLR (about 9.5%).
We therefore advise members to exercise option with domiciliary reimbursement, since we are not sure of opting for this facility again.
PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING OPTION THROUGH ONLINE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Go to https://www.iob.in –>
Click on “Staff and Ex-Staff”,
Click on “2. Pensioner’s Portal”,
Type your roll no. in User ID and your PPO no. in password,
You can view “Important information”.
In this click on “Click here to submit your renewal option”,
Click on the 1st one if you wish to renew, (on the round dot at the left); those who do not wish to renew shall click on 2nd one.
After clicking 1st option, you will be asked to give your domiciliary option.
If you wish to avail domiciliary reimbursement facility, click on the dot on “With Domiciliary” (first one)
If you do not want domiciliary reimbursement, then click the second one.
Then click “Submit Details”.
Now your option is over.
You can ensure your option by going through the procedure again, which will show that you have already registered.
