NEW MEDICAL INSURANCE SCHEME – PRO-RATA PREMIUM FOR THOSE EMPLOYEES RETIRED/RETIRES BETWEEN 01.10.2016 AND 30.09.2017

Dear Comrades,

We attach herewith the circular No. 7(f) 59/2017-18 dated 11.09.2017 issued by the Bank on inclusion of those employees who retired/retires between 01.10.2016 and 30.09.2017 under New Medical Insurance Scheme.

These retirees who are covered under the Medical Insurance Scheme upto 30.09.2017, as per the staff scheme, are now supposed to give option for continuing the Insurance scheme by paying the pro-rata premium for the month of October 2017, since the Retirees’ scheme period ends with 30.10.2017.  Once they give option for this pro-rata and make payment, they would be automatically included in the Insured Retirees’ list for renewal of policy from 01.11.2017. The procedure for payment of pro-rata is given clearly in the circular and the members are requested to adhere to the procedures and make payment on or before 22.09.2017.  In case of difficulty by a few retirees for making online payment, they are advised to contact their respective branch, who will be guiding them to take the payment challan at the branch and make payment off-line from the branch.

We request these retirees and also our Regional Co-ordinators to be familiar with these procedures, which facilitate checking of retirees’ particulars before making payment, because the Management is going to follow the same procedure for payment of our renewal premium in the month of October02017.

Any drawbacks in the procedure may please brought to the knowledge of the Bank/us, so that the same can be corrected before starting our renewal premium.

For information of our members, we also attach herewith a list of retirees, region-wise, from 01.10.2016 to 30.09.2017 so that you may contact any of your friends in there,  for ensuring them to join the scheme as retirees.

Regards,
