The above message has been conveyed by Our President and General Secretary to all our members through various media.
We have also written to our Executive Director as under :

The demonitization done for a greater cause has cast a heavy responsibility on banks and the employees will be definitely hard pressed to discharge their duty to the nation. We as retirees want to do our part in this mission. We the retirees organization of IOB sent today morning the following message through all channels of social media and over phone the following message sent at 11.30 a.m.-

We now understand RBI has also issued circular advising banks to engage retirees where ever needed. We welcome this move of RBI though our offer is voluntary help and we still stick to that commitment. Please advise suitably the controlling offices to instruct branches to take the help of retirees.
