NEW MEDICAL INSURANCE SCHEME – POLICY & PROCEDURES

Comrades,

Few of our insured members are seeking clarifications regarding the procedures for claiming Medical expenses under the above scheme.

Hence, it has been decided to apprise you of the procedure on the claim process and also to provide you with the Group Health Insurance Policy issued by them for the current period.  Please find attached the same.

Apart from the above, Mr Koshy George, Manager-Operations from MDIndia Health Insurance TPA Private Limited, at our recently held EC meeting in Chennai, has conveyed that the member who has taken two insurance policies during the period can also claim from both the insurance companies after exhausting the first one.   For which, they only require the Settlement Letter from the first Insurance Company to the other Insurance company.  He also told that they may consider paying the Co-payment made to the other Insurance company, if any.

Members are advised to go through the Policy and also the procedure for Claim given hereunder.
