NEW MEDICAL INSURANCE SCHEME – INSURED LIST AS ON 31.10.2017 & AS ON 30.11.2017

Dear Comrades,

Please find attached the list of insured retirees/spouses as on 31.10.2017 for the period covering from 1.11.2017 to 31.10.2018.

You may go through the list and ensure your details as to your name is there with the correct option given by you.  Also go through the dependents list wherein your spouse name is given with the details.

For those who were not able to renew/opt before the dead line 31.10.2017, Insurance company had extended the time limit upto 24.11.2017 with certain conditions. Now that the extension time is also over, we attach below one more list of the insured who had opted/renewed for insurance between 1.11.2017 and 24.11.2017 as Batch II.

These two lists are final list of Insured retirees.

Policy Numbers & MDIndia ID cards :

Policy numbers and MDIndia Id card numbers have been allotted and were individually intimated to the insured retirees by MDIndia.

It is informed that there will be separate ID cards for base policy and Super Top-up policy, for those who opted for supet top-up.  They have to mention the base policy number and ID number while claiming the basic insured amount of Rs.4 lacs and 3 lacs for officers and award staff respectively, as well as for domiciliary claims.   Those who did not opt for top-up, will have only one policy number and Id number. However, the policy numbers are different for the domiciliary and non-domiciliary option.

As such, we observe the following are the Policy numbers:

Top-up Policy Number (for both with and without domiciliary options) = 500100/28/17/P112434661.

Policy Number for Non-Domiciliary opted members (Option  I)  = 500100/28/17/P112335108.

Policy Number for Domiciliary opted members (Option II)  =  500100/28/17/P112423530.

And also observe that MDIndia id number starts with 0030…..  for base policy and 0032… for top-up policy.

Members can verify their policy number and MDIndia ID number and also take e-cards  from their website www.mdindiaonline.com by following the procedure given below:

Select “Top up” for getting top policy details. Select Bank as Indian Overseas Bank.   Employee ID and password is your roll number ->

After logging in, you will find ” Claim intimation ” on left side and ” Instant E-card ” on right. By clicking Claim intimation, you can find your Policy number as well as MDIndia ID number.  Likewise, by clicking Instant E-card, you will have the option for taking printouts of your e-card.

Please note that MDIndia is also arranging to send hardcopy of ID cards to the members.

We are informed by MDIndia that the Policy Numbers intimated to the members earlier via sms with the numbers ranging to 7 or 8 zeros ending with 13 or 05 were only dummy numbers used for creating the ID numbers and that  the present policy numbers given in the website are final.
